Neutron reactions with ^58,60Ni that result in alpha particles have been studied from threshold to 50 MeV at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) unmoderated spallation neutron source. Neutron energies were determined by time-of-flight over a 9-meter flight path. Alpha particles emitted from isotopically enriched targets were detected by low-pressure gas Delta-E detectors followed by silicon surface-barrier detectors at angles from 30 to 135 degrees. The double-differential, continuum alpha-particle spectra were integrated to obtain (n,alpha) cross sections below the thresholds for other alpha-producing reactions, and these integrated cross sections agree well with other charged-particle measurements and, for ^58Ni, with activation cross-section data below 15 MeV. Above 15 MeV there are no other data in the literature and the present results extend our knowledge of these reactions up to 50 MeV.
