We observed the powerful flare on 3 November 2003 with UVCS/SOHO. Here
we discuss the current sheet that connected the flare site to the CME
core. We observed the current sheet in [Fe XVIII] and measured the
brightness and turbulence. We compare the observations with theoretical
expectations for reconnection.
