The spatial distribution, absolute flux values, and spectral characteristics of He ions with several MeV/nucleon energies in the inner magnetosphere at L less than 4 are analyzed using new data from the low altitude Japanese OHZORA spacecraft. The new results are compared with recent measurements from CRRES, SAMPEX, and S72-1 spacecraft. The spectra and the absolute values of the energetic He ion fluxes at L = 1.3 and 1.9 do not contradict these measurements.
