The presented results are part of a superheated superconducting granule (SSG) detector development for neutrinos and dark matter. An aluminum SSG detector was exposed to a 70 MeV neutron beam to test the detector sensitivity to nuclear recoils. The proved sensitivity of the detector to nuclear recoils above 10 keV is encouraging for possible applications of SSG as a dark matter detector.
