PAU (Physics of the Accelerating Universe), was born as a collaboration project between several Spanish research centers(CIEMAT/IFAE/IEEC-CSIC/UAM) under the Programa Consolider Ingenio 2010. PAU's objective is to make a photometric galaxy survey optimized for Dark Energy studies. The project is building a wide field camera (18 CCDs) with a narrow band filter set, ranging between 4500 and 8500 Angstroms, and wide band filter set. As a previous step, detectors and filters must be tested and certificated, including the quantum efficiency, noise levels and transmittance. To carry out this task, we have prepared two test benches: one of them is at IFAE/IEEC-CSIC (Barcelona) and the other at CIEMAT (Madrid). Our poster describes the test benches' design and present some preliminary results we have obtained with our testing design.
