In the courses of adjusting and observing for DCMT, the image position variation with temperature was found. The position variation of each image, which is related to variation of the optical system, is discussed. Based on the analyses of the data for several durations, the author found that a linear relationship obviously exists between the position of each image and the temperature, meanwhile, the variation of each part of the optical system with temperature is calculated quantitatively, thereby a suggestion of improving the design of the optical system is put forward.
