We have been studying a subaerial terrestrial iron hot spring as an
potential analog for hydrothermal systems on Mars. In this
multidisciplinary study, we have characterized the aqueous geochemistry,
mineralogy, and microbial biosignatures at Chocolate Pots hot springs.
