The influence of cosmological gravitational waves on the anisotropy of primordial electromagnetic radiation is considered. Allowance is made for the fact that plasma gradually becomes transparent for the relict radiation during recombination at a redshift of approximately 1300 and that space can be curved. Distortions introduced in the observations by real antennas are taken into account. The results are given in a form suitable for direct interpretation of observational data. A comparison of the computational results with observational data gives an upper limit on the energy density of gravitational waves in different regions of their spectrum. The expected anisotropy of the primordial electromagnetic radiation is calculated for different assumptions about the gravitational-wave spectrum.
