The technological equipment of a system for the automated shaping of large optical components, guaranteeing the achievement of high-precision shaping of flat, spherical and aspherical surfaces, is examined. The specifications and structural features of the elements of a system of automated machines, support and basing mounts, interferometers of various types, and the software for the technological process are presented. The technological capabilities of the system are demonstrated for the example of finishing an aspherical mirror having a diameter of 1500 mm and a radius of curvature of ≡10,000 mm.
