Versatility of computer graphics, and the computational speed conferred by the 8087 chip have made possible a wide range of applications of the microcomputer in the classroom. The type of application addressed here involves "orbits": these can be germane not only in a course on dynamical astronomy, but also quite generally in astronomy, physics and differential equations.
