We show that for a typical Radon measure mu in R^d, every non-zero Radon
measure is a tangent measure of mu at mu almost every point, and this result is
shown to be sharp. We also prove an analogous result in a symbolic setting for
micromeasures. As a direct consequence we have that a typical measure in R^d is
non-doubling.
