We propose to continue our systematic investigation of comet C/1995 O1 {Hale-Bopp}. Our project began in Cycle 5 and is currently still executing in Cycle 6. In Cycle 7 the comet will be observed post-perihelion at heliocentric distances that are similar to what we have already covered pre- perihelion. We are monitoring emissions from OH, CS, and the CO Cameron system, which allows us to compare the heliocentric variation in the production rates of water, cstwo, and cotwo {or possibly CO, if electron impact on CO dominates the excitation of the Cameron bands}, respectively. Thus, our program provides valuable and unique {since IUE is no longer operational} information on the sublimation behavior of the comet.
