EUSO (Extreme Universe Space Observatory) is an experiment selected by ESA (European Space Agency) for an accommodation study on the Columbus External facility module of the ISS (International Space Station). The system electronics governing EUSO is described with details about the front-end, read-out, on board data handling and trigger electronics which have been specifically designed for the experiment. The solutions adopted have been introduced in order to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio of the characteristic faint fluorescence events seen by the detector from a distance of about 400 km, average height of the ISS, and to fulfill the response function of the EUSO instrument. .
