An algorithm is given for calculating the theoretical light curves of an X-ray binary star with an eccentric orbit. Modified versions of the light curves are developed to describe the orientation of the star in space; its inclination; and the physical parameters of the accretion disk surrounding the point object. A computer generated drawing of the binary system is provided.
