Photoelectric V, R photometry, and radio flux-density measurements at wavelengths 2.08, 3.9, 8.2, 13, and 31 cm were carried out for SS 433 in May-July 1979. The aim was to investigate the variability of SS 433 and correlation between the radio and optical data. Optical and radio light curves are presented which indicate that during the observations, the source SS 433 was in a state of heightened activity typified by short flares (1-2 d) following one another at intervals from two to several days. Analysis of observational data also shows that the positions of the compact variable radio source and the optical object should coincide within the accuracy of the optical measurements.
