Using 7 epochs of Swift X-Ray Telescope (XRT) observations of the Type II SN 2009dd in NGC 4088 (CBET #1764), obtained between 2009-04-15 and 2009-05-11 (22.5 ks exposure time), an X-ray point-source is detected at the optical position of the SN, with a 4.5-sigma significance of source detection. The average PSF, dead-time, and vignetting corrected XRT net count rate is (1.5+/-0.4)E-03 cts/s, corresponding to an unabsorbed (0.2-10 keV band) X-ray flux of (7.2+/-1.6)E-14 erg/cm/cm/s and a luminosity of (1.5+/-0.3)E39 erg/s for an adopted thermal plasma spectrum with a temperature of kT = 10 keV, a Galactic foreground column density of N_H = 2.0E+20 (Dickey & Lockman, 1990, ARAA 28) and a distance of 13 Mpc (z= 0.002524, Verheijen & Sancisi, 2001, A&A 370, 765; H_o = 71 km/s/Mpc, Omega_M = 1/3, Omega_L = 2/3).
