Swift Ultraviolet/Optical Telescope (UVOT) observed the Type II (possibly IIb) SN 2008aq (CBET #1271) on 2008-02-28.91 UT. The following UVOT magnitudes were measured: v = 16.4 (401 s exposure time), b = 16.8 (315 s), u = 16.7 (314 s), uvw1 [181-321nm] = 17.9 (629 s), and uvw2 [112-264 nm] = 18.1 (1259 s). Errors are about 0.1 mag. These magnitudes are on the UVOT photometric system (see GCN #6614) which in the optical is close to the Johnson UBV.
