We report on a pre-outburst ROSAT PSPC observation of the new SGR discovered by Swift-BAT on 2011 July 14 (Cummings et al. Atel #3488). The PSPC observation was performed on 1993 September 12 for ~6.7ks.
We find a source at: RA (2000) = 18 22 18.1 and Dec (2000)= -16 04 26.4, with a 5sigma detection significance. The count-rate (corrected for the PSPC PSF, sampling dead time, and vignetting) is about 0.012 counts/s.
