Gravitational Fields, Interacting Galaxies, Three Body Problem, Jacobi Integral, Mass Distribution, Polytropic Processes

Zero-velocity curves perpendicular to the orbital plane are computed for
a close pair of interacting galaxies having density distribution that of
a polytrope of index n = 4. An analytical formulation for computing the
zero-velocity surfaces is suggested.
