Results are presented for surface UBVRI photometry of the barred spiral galaxy NGC 6217. The data were obtained with the 1-m and 1.5-m telescopes of Maidanak Observatory (Uzbekistan) using an electronic image converter and a CCD camera. Several star-formation regions in this galaxy are identified and examined: the nucleus, the circumnuclear region, and blue condensations (stellar aggregations) in the spiral arms. Using two-color diagrams, the constitution of the stellar population in various areas of NGC 6217 is estimated. Physical processes stimulating star formation in the galaxy are discussed.
