Surface-brightness and color distributions are presented for 72 elliptical galaxies in the spiral-poor cluster A426 (Perseus) and 48 ellipticals in the spiral-rich cluster A1367. U- and R-band surface-brightness profiles are derived from photographs for all systems which appear spheroidal, and various checks on the profile accuracy are performed. The resulting ellipticity distributions and surface-brightness profiles are analyzed, and information is provided on profile classes, absolute magnitudes, color differences, (U-R) colors, ellipticities, and major-axis position angles. Structural properties of the sample galaxies are discussed using the R-band surface photometry as a 'tracer' of the stellar density distributions. The results indicate that: (1) more luminous galaxies have larger effective radii and lower effective surface brightnesses; (2) galaxies in A1367 generally have larger effective radii than those in Perseus; (3) the core-region galaxies in Perseus tend to have smaller effective radii than galaxies located in the outer cluster region; and (4) environmental effects appear to play a significant role in affecting the structure of elliptical galaxies.
