We present a study of the impact of a supernova bullet onto a molecular cloud at the peripheries of HII regions surrounding the supernova explosion. We have carried out a 3D simulation with sample bullets denser than the molecular cloud by one to two orders of magnitude, a radius of a few tens to a few hundreds AU and a velocity of a few thousands of km/s using the FLASH code to solve the hydrodynamic equations and accurately capture the strong shock. We show the depth at which the mass is deposited inside the cloud, the mixing of bullet material with molecular cloud components due to Kelvin-Helmholtz instabilities, and the distribution of the mass deposited along the trajectory of the ejecta. We compare our preliminary results with previous studies and show the implications on the overabundance of certain short-lived radionuclides in stars and protoplanetary disks.
