The SNAP Mission will provide an opportunity to study the dark energy that drives the acceleration of the universe. The mission will provide detailed measurements of thousands of supernovae. Coupled with this fundamental science mission, the SNAP Education and Public Outreach programs will bring the excitement of scientific inquiry directly into the hands of students and the public. SNAP E/PO includes K-12 activities and resources, teacher training, and various research oppportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. SNAP E/PO has a broad range of partners including science museums, community colleges, universities and schools. This project is supported in part by the Department of Energy and by the National Science Foundation.
