Forbidden S III measurements of the nucleus of the classic Liner elliptical galaxy NGC 1052 are presented. A flux-calibrated spectrum corrected for continuous atmospheric extinction is presented along with one having the major atmospheric absorption bands divided out. The strength of the lines favors photoionization as opposed to shock heating models, in agreement with recent forbidden O III electron temperature data for NGC 1052 and with forbidden S III data for some other Liners.
