The deepest Chandra surveys and their corresponding multiwavelength data sets provide a unique means for studying the evolution of X-ray emission from normal galaxy populations (i.e., galaxies that are not dominated by luminous active galactic nuclei [AGNs]). We outline recent investigations by Lehmer et al. (2008) and Danielson et al. (2010, in-prep) that utilize the Chandra Deep Fields to characterize the X-ray evolution of normal late-type and early-type galaxy populations, resepctively. These studies provide insight into the evolution of star-formation activity, hot gas cooling in massive ellipticals, and the evolution of X-ray binary populations out to z~1.4.
