The relation between the spectrum structure of the VIS-NIR solar radiation scattered from zenith and the meteorological conditions (sunny, hazy or cloudy) is discussed in this work. The analysis reveals that using approximation coefficients of the linear approximation of the spectra envelopes a simple classification of the days by their meteorological conditions is possible.
