The results are presented on a comparison of the parameters of latitude oscillations with frequencies close to the frequency of the free nearly diurnal motion of the pole predicted by the theory of rotation of the earth with a liquid core. The parameters were obtained by various authors from astronomical observations of the latitudes of Pulkovo, Paris, Washington, Greenwich, Poltava, stations of the International Service of Motion of the Earth's Poles, and Gor'kii. The results based on round-the-clock observations at Gor'kii served as the standard for comparison. The influence of the symmetric harmonic was taken into account. Despite the remoteness of the epochs of the comparison, all the determinations are in fully satisfactory agreement. The component with a period of 23 h, 56 m, 55 s and an amplitude of 0.008 arcsec, coinciding with the period predicted for Molodenskii's earth model I, is stable enough but has the opposite direction from that predicted.
