The paper reports on measurements of the nucleon component with the aid of a device not requiring stabilization of dead time and which also measures multiplicities of neutrons generated in the monitor. Latitudinal measurements were made from a truck-mounted station along the path Kolpashevo-Iolotan'. Preliminary processing of the data included corrections for pressure and allowance for variations of primary origin. Results on total intensity as a function of geomagnetic cutoff are compared with measurements made with neutron supermonitors on land and sea stations in the periods 1965-1966 and 1966-1967, respectively. Close agreement between the various sets of data was obtained except where variations in experimental conditions were present. The polar coupling coefficients for the total intensity of the nucleon component recorded by the monitor without stabilized dead time are graphically presented.
