Suzaku’s large effective area at 6-10 keV, wide field of view, and low background brings new capabilities to measure Fe and Ni lines from the Galactic Center, Ridge and Buldge. The best energy resolution of the XIS flown to date enables us to study Kalpha and Kbeta lines of helium-like and hydrogenic Fe and Ni in these regions. The imaging capability in this hard band has led to the discovery of new SNR in the Galactic Center as well as a possible new X-ray Reflection Nebula. The combination of the XIS with the HXD provides an important new broadband capability, essential when measuring Fe K lines or the high energy continuum. With a 1/4 square degree field of view and the lowest background in the 20-100 keV band of any detector flown, the HXD can obtain good quality spectra, which are important to study the origin of non-thermal spectrum from the sources. An HXD observation of a portion of a shell-like SNR, RXJ 1713-3946, clearly reveals the hard X-ray continuum component to at least 40 keV. RXJ 1713-3946 is a shell-like SNR, which shows X-ray emission dominated by synchrotron emission from electron shock-accelerated to TeV energies. The study of the HXD spectrum is crucial to study the maximum energy of electrons and the to determine whether the TeV gamma-rays filled in the source arise as inverse Compton radiation from the TeV electrons or from hadronic process. Here we will present initial results of Suzaku for galactic diffuse sources.
