Photographic BV observations of three Galactic-bulge (GB) fields, obtained with the 3.9-m AAT in June 1982 and July 1983, are reported and analyzed, extending the investigation of Rodgers and Harding (1985). The data compared with the predictions of the Galactic models of Bahcall and Soneira (1980-1984). Agreement is obtained only for models without the globular-cluster feature, and an excess population of young stars with Salpeter age about 2 Gyr is found about 5 kpc from the Galactic nucleus, at a perpendicular scale height (about 370 pc) similar to that of solar-vicinity disk stars of age 10 Gyr.
