Data on variations of ion density obtained from 63 orbits of Cosmos 900 during the autumn of 1977 are analyzed. Longitude-averaged latitude variations of the density of inhomogeneities with a length scale of 10-150 km are determined along the midday-midnight meridian for the Kp range of 1-6(+). Spectra of inhomogeneities with length scales of 5-150 km and 0.5-20 km are obtained for day and night conditions for various latitude zones in the + or - (0-90) deg region.
