The method of specially selected characteristics of a field of objects, being stochastic quantities, is proposed to determine the presence of some structure in the field and to estimate the parameters of the structure, if it exists. The method is applied to the Abell catalogue of clusters of galaxies. The presence of tendency to group in multiclusters is confirmed. An estimate of grouping parameters is obtained.
