A dynamical system with Robertson-Walker symmetries and the equation of state pressure = gamma x energy density, where gamma ranges between zero and one, is studied both as a conservative and nonconservative system. Friedmann cosmology is first presented in the form of a dynamic system which is very general and contains radiation-filled and dust-filled cosmological models. The structural stability of world models corresponding to conservative and nonconservative systems with respect to space curvature, cosmological constant, bulk viscosity coefficient, and matter content of the universe is investigated.
