The goal of the study presented here is to investigate the propagation of strong plane shock waves through a quiescent gaseous cloud (in which the density increases exponentially) under low pressure with zero temperature gradient in the presence of a magnetic field. It is assumed that the disturbance is generated almost instantaneously by a strong impulse upon a plane surface of the cloud. It is noted that the solution is valid even for large times and is applicable for any arbitrary ratio of specific heats. The equations governing the flow behind the shock constitute a set of nonsimilarity solutions.
