The STAR experiment at RHIC-BNL has the ability to reconstruct strange baryons with good acceptance. In this talk we present data on strangeness production in Au-Au collisions at √s_NN = 130 GeV and, depending on the progress of the analysis, preliminary data from 200 GeV. More specifically Kaon and Lambda mT spectra and rapidity densities are discussed. The systematics of energy and centrality dependence will also be presented and discussed.
