The paradox of situation in photoelectric multicolor photometry lies in the fact that there is not enough accurate and reliable photometric data in spite of the large number of these observations. Not all a stars included in the Bright Stars Catalog have UBV magnitudes. The deficit of reliable multi-color photoelectric data for practical astronomical purposes made us in 1984 address the problem of photometric four-color broadband measurement for all bright northern sky stars. The results of photoelectric multicolor observations after reduction and investigation were published in Catalog of WBVR magnitudes of northern sky bright stars, including 13,586 objects (Kornilov et al. 1991). Most of these stars are measured more than 4 times. The comparison of WBVR magnitudes with photoelectrical magnitudes collected in well-known BS catalogue and its supplement show that the mean difference V magnitude is equal to 0.007 mag. The standard deviation of these differences is 0.022 mag. The investigation shows that the catalog contains more than the 95% of the stars up to V = 7.25 mag.
