Several databases of high resolution stellar spectra are now available and make it possible to build empirical libraries for the stellar population synthesis, the validation of synthetic spectra or the automated parametrization. One aspect of the quality of a stellar library is the accuracy of (Teff, logg,[Fe/H]) assigned to each spectrum. Unfortunately atmospheric parameters collected from the literature suffer from a great heterogeneity and the lack of certain types of stars. An effort is being made, in relation with several projects, to centralize all the information about stellar fundamental parameters, homogenize the scales and fill the gaps by new observations.
