/RESUME Emission spectroscopic measurements in a spectral resolution of about 5 pm obtained in a microwave generated plasma are presented. The emission is used to support the modelling of the molecular radiation. A comparison with the simplified modelling in PARADE taken from NEQAIR85 as well as with the more sophisticated modelling of the IRS in house code EMCAL are presented for the NO plasma. In addition, measurements with CO are presented. These measurements are to be used for an extension of EMCAL and PARADE to CO2 plasma species.
