The Dark Energy Survey Camera (DECam) is an extremely red-sensitive 500 megapixel camera that will be mounted at the prime focus of the Blanco 4m. telescope at Cerro-Tololo Interamerican Observatory. In survey mode ( 30% of the duty cycle) DECam will obtain high precision multi-bandpass observations over 5000 sq. degrees near the South Galactic Pole. The goal is to extract information on the dark energy equation of state, w(t), from four distinct analyses:
1) Cluster counting and spatial distribution of clusters at 0.1
3) Weak lensing measurements in redshift shells to z 1
4) Time-series observations of 2000 supernovae at 0.3
