Scientific paper

Based on their self-consistent outer gap model for high energy emission from the rotation-powered pulsars, the authors study the statistical properties of X-ray and γ-ray emission from rotation-powered pulsars. Other statistical properties (e.g. diffuse γ-ray background and unidentified γ-ray point sources) related to γ-ray pulsars in our Galaxy and nearby galaxies are also considered.
