A statistical method has been developed for solving inverse cosmic-ray problems. In this method it is not the solution that is sought immediately but the probability density of the solution. The solution itself is iteratively estimated from the probability density, and errors of this estimate are calculated. As an illustration, calculations have been obtained on the basis of various models of the distribution of muon and electron fluctuations in extensive air showers for various types of primary nuclei.
