The field structure of the Galaxy and the Metagalaxy can be effectively studied by using a statistical polarization criterion. The vicinity of the Northern Galactic Pole (b is equal to or greater than 80 deg) was studied on the basis of the Abell catalog. It was found that clusters of galaxies of class D = 5 do not form any significant structures, while clusters of class D = 6 form a pronounced 'stratus' structure. By using another method, it is verified that the stratus structure is a real formation and not just an optical phenomenon.
