By means of multivariate analysis, an attempt is made to detect if some systematic errors exist in the data reductions for the Paris Danjon astrolabe. A two-step method has been developed. First, a factor analysis for reductions separated in time by twelve years suggests that some variables, such as sidereal time of passage and visual magnitude, might have been included in both reductions; application is made to the group of 10 in 1966 and 1978. In the second step, the observational data are considered and stepwise regressions are used including the variables to detect significant errors by noting which variables remain in the regression. Two periods are analyzed: 1965-1967 and 1977-1979. Finally, the dependence of the results on the periods, the observers, and the existence of remaining observational errors is discussed.
