The dynamic properties of 23 flat galaxies are deduced from an analysis of the rotation curve, using adjustable parameters which characterize the mass distribution in the flat and spherical portions of the galaxies. Stellar velocity dispersion and galactic thickness are taken into consideration. An isotropic stellar pressure is assumed in the description of the galaxies; however, the velocity distribution for most of the low-velocity stars conforms with classical stellar dynamics. The three statistical relationships obtained indicate that the dynamic structure of flat galaxies is determined by the total mass alone.
