The problem of stationary axisymmetric gravitational fields is formulated in the framework of a generalized theory of gravitation. It is shown that this problem can be solved if the analogous solution in Einstein's theory of gravitation is shown. A theorem is formulated on the basis of which it is possible, given the stationary vacuum solution to the problem, to find the metric in the magnetostatic case.
