The Stark widths and shifts of 18 triply ionized argon (Ar IV) spectral
lines have been measured at an electron density of 1.9 1023
m-3 and electron temperature of 22 500 K in a linear
pulsed-arc discharge-containing argon-helium mixture. The measured
values were compared to the existing calculated and experimental data.
