We present results of U,B,V, and I photometry using a combination of Hubble Space Telescope WFPC2 and ACS imaging. We constrain that star formation is taking place within the member galaxies in contrast to other compact groups where the gas is distributed throughout the intergalactic medium. This represents a pathway of galaxy evolution in which morphological transformation takes place without the intermediate step of interaction and mergers. We project that the future of this group will be a dry merger and ultimately an isolated elliptical without an x-ray halo. As part of our multi-wavelength study of Hickson Compact Groups (HCG) we have obtained U band photometry of five galaxies to conduct a more detailed study of young star clusters in this environment. In this poster we present the results of HCG 7A.
