Extended Groth Strip (EGS) extends over 120'x16' for which the DEEP2 obtained optical spectra of a majority of galaxies to R=24, extending to z 1.5. EGS collaboration adds to this effort with observations in other wavelengths, from radio to X-ray. In a very deep exposure (120 ksec), Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX) has imaged most of the EGS in two UV bands, and detects 60% of galaxies with optical spectra. GALEX UV fluxes provide a star formation measurement for practically the entire redshift range. Dust-corrected star formation rates, as well as other parameters such as stellar masses and stellar metallicities are derived by comparing the observed broad-band SED to SEDs of model galaxies exhibiting a wide range of galaxy properties and star formation histories. As a preliminary result, we see evidence for the systematic change in the specific (per mass) star-formation rate, consistent with the picture of down-sizing.
