Two-dimensional simulations of the time evolution of a star cluster around a massive, central black hole are presented. A Monte-Carlo simulation scheme modified to provide time-dependent results is utilized. The simulations show that even a relatively small central black hole can halt core collapse and indicate that the cluster can achieve a quasi-static postcollapse configuration.
