The case of accretion onto a magnetic neutron star is explored in order to account for many of the observed properties of SS433, especially the collimation and precession of its pair of gaseous jets. It is proposed that SS433 is a neutron star whose rotational and magnetic axes are almost aligned. The alignment provides collimation of the jets, which originate in supercritical accretion bursts. The burstlike activities must be attributed to instabilities in the accretion flow, since the accretion rate is too high for thermonuclear flashes to occur. Precession of the star is invoked to account for the observed 164-day periodicity. The corotating magnetosphere gives the star a quadrupole moment so that classical precession occurs in the gravitational field of the accretion disk.
